PetsTeddy Bear and Sally are my two dogs. Usingen is my cat. Usingen was born in Germany and traveled to the United States with us. He is 14 years old. Teddy Bear and Sally were SPCA dogs and have fit into our family perfectly.
My two sons are married. The oldest son, Richard, has two boys ages seven and two. The youngest son, Jason, has a daughter three weeks old. Richard is married to a British girl and Jason is married to a French girl. We have an international family.
I love to travel. I have visited every state in the United States, but still have many places I would like to visit. Having lived in Europe for 10 years, allowed my family a unique opportunity to explore many countries on that continent. I have traveled to every continent except Africa and Antarctica. I would like to take an African Safari someday, but I have no desire to visit Antarctica.
HobbiesMusic is a passion. I love to sing and play the piano well enough to help me with my singing. I love opera and classical music. Reading is a pastime which allows me to relax and forget the stress of everyday life. I enjoy cooking, but I don’t have as much time to cook as I would like.

Myra Markvart enjoys traveling and being home with her husband and animals. Visiting and having grandchildren visit is another passion. Being an administrator does not leave as much time for seeing her grandchildren as she would desire.
